His musical journey reflects a deep-rooted connection with Rajasthan’s traditional folk culture while embracing modern musical styles that appeal to today’s audiences.

Born on 4 October 1998 in Manjhuwas village of Padampur tehsil in Sri Ganganagar district, Rajasthan, Sonu grew up in a family deeply connected to music and cultural traditions. His uncle and mentor, Shri Harjiram Ji Charan, also played a major role by taking him to jagrans and devotional gatherings, where young Sonu would observe and practice singing from behind the stage.

Over the years, Sonu Charan Bhatt developed strong roots in devotional and folk music through Bhagwat Katha programs, bhajans, and live performances. Apart from singing, he mastered harmonium playing, a skill that continues to add depth and emotional expression to his music.
