In his proposal, Prof. Dr. K. S. Rana pointed out that Jewar is situated in the sacred land of Braj Bhumi, the divine region associated with the life and leelas of Lord Krishna. As described in ancient Hindu scriptures such as the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavata Purana, and various Vaishnav traditions, Braj is not merely a geographical location but a spiritual consciousness that represents love, dharma, and divine harmony.
Prof. Dr. K. S. Rana stated that naming the airport “Lord Krishna Airport, Braj Bhumi” would align modern infrastructure with India’s timeless spiritual heritage.
